#longpostalert In 2008 @radiotsfjazz altered the trajectory my musical life. And I am now proud to be part of the #tsfjazz team every Thursday 7pm-8pm with #MadeInChina #allaboutthevoice I performed with #RaphaelLemonnier @ducdeslombards75 and the show was broadcast live. We were performing what would become our #thisonesfordinah #bluenote repertoire. It was a fun concert but I was still a bit nervous about stepping out into the #jazz world publicly. I mean singing standards in the shower is one thing but performing them in one of the most renowned #jazzclubs is another. The show went well. The audience welcomed me with open arms. And a new chapter began. A few days later I get a call from #JeanClaudeGhrenassia a friend and fellow musician/producer who has known me since I was a teenager and worked with me on my 2nd album #soul #pop #OnTourneEnRond JC: “Since when are you singing Jazz!!” Me:“Not to long. I just love #DinahWashington and thought it would be fun to pay homage” JC: “You need to record this. You need to create your own production company and record this project. I will help you find a license” Me: “Ok” I signed to #bluenotefrance #universalinternational and now I am a free agent. 8 years later and 2 albums later. I am performing all over the world. Sharing the love and the power of music. I am privileged to be able to have the possibility to see the world through the prism of music. It permits me to translate different shades of emotion into melody. And as I begin a new chapter I can only thank all of those who have helped me and encouraged me. Have trusted enough in me to buy tickets to my shows. I will keep bettering my for you. #breakingpoint
